Description of this tour:Around 8:30am we will leave the Pipeline Road and head to the Embera village. Once we arrive at Puerto Corotu on the banks of Lake Alajuela, our indigenous friends will be waiting to take us up the Chagres River aboard a cayuco, their version of a dugout canoe. We will visit a beautiful waterfall before we are brought to the village where our hosts will be waiting. We will witness a traditional dance, be served a simple lunch of fried fish and plantains, and then have opportunites to receive traditional "tattoos" which will fade away after a few days.
